"Cars for Kids" - car servicing and repair
Cars for Kids is an easy way to help the Tyler Foundation Shine On! programs while taking care of a one of your basic needs - the servicing and repair of your car. Mick Lay Auto Leasing and Sales has partnered with the Tyler Foundation to donate a portion of the proceeds of your car care to the Tyler Foundation. When you use Mick Lay you are not only caring for your car - but caring for our kids as well!
Mick Lay is offering the services below with door-to-door service provided to customers in the Tokyo area and some parts of Kanagawa and Chiba*.

Basic vehicle servicing - same-day annual check and oil change.

Shaken Extension (car registration) - overnight shaken extension service with a service and annual check. The shaken extension service checks the cars brakes, hand brake, all lights and indicators (external), speedometer calibration, exhaust emissions, headlight setting/angle, oil leaks, under body condition, tires, and other things such as cracked windows, illegally altered issues such as car height, exhaust pipes, width of tires, etc.

Body and mechanical repairs. Body work includes panel beating and spray painting. A free loaned car will be provided as required.**

Car cleaning - simply body and internal cleaning service and/or detailed valeting.

Mick Lay also offers very unique and cost-saving insurance that saves on the excess when making an insurance claim. Here’s how it works: Generally when you set up an insurance policy on your car you will normally have an excess or deductible of JPY50,000 or 100,000 on your first claim and subsequent claims. This is the amount the insurance company or repairer will ask you to pay when making a claim. For example: You have an accident and make a claim......the insurance company agrees to pay for the repair that costs JPY300,000. If your excess/deductible is JPY50,000 the insurance company or the repairer will ask you to pay JPY50,000 of that repair bill. With Mick Lay, in most cases, we can save you at least 50% of this if not 100%. The reason? Mick Lay has their own repair work shop and can, in most cases, absorb the deductible amount normally requested by the insurer or repair shop. And, you get a loan car during the repair period - free to Tyler Foundation referrals!
* Persons living in Kanagawa or Chiba need to check with Mick Lay Auto Leasing and Sales to confirm service in their area.
**A free loaned car is available to customers with current insurance that covers third party liability while driving. The loan car is covered by Mick Lay Auto Leasing and Sales for up to JPY100,000 chargeable only on any accident.
